Update - We are continuing to investigate this issue.
Jun 14, 2024 - 08:24 PDT
Investigating - We are currently experiencing an issue affecting how measurements are displayed on user timelines in the Cardiogram app. For devices that take multiple heart rate measurements within a one-minute interval, such as Apple Watches and Fitbit Devices including The Google Pixel Watch, the timeline is temporarily displaying these readings as one-minute averages instead of each individual measurement.

Affected Devices: Apple Watches, Fitbit Devices, and The Google Pixel Watch.
Impact: Display issue on timelines only; the underlying raw data remains accurate and is still used for AI analysis, report cards, and risk scores.
Temporary Solution: Measurements will be shown as one-minute averages to ensure data is visible on all phone types.

Our engineering team is actively working on a fix, which we aim to release soon. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience as we work to resolve this issue. Thank you for your understanding.

Investigating - We received reports of a potential issue that may be impacting iPhone users who have updated to the latest versions of iOS and WatchOS, released on May 13th, 2024. Some users have reported that the "Continuous Mode" on the Apple Watch is reverting to normal tracking instead of maintaining continuous measurements throughout sleep sessions.

Our engineering team is actively investigating this issue to determine the cause and develop a solution as quickly as possible. We understand the importance of reliable health tracking, especially during sleep, and are working diligently to address this concern.

We will provide further updates as our investigation progresses and more information becomes available. Please check back on this page for the latest developments.

Resolved - After a thorough investigation, we have determined that the issue affecting Cardiogram's launch on certain older iPhone models is due to compatibility limitations. We understand how important it is for you to have access to all the app features. Cardiogram is designed to work optimally on devices running the latest security releases from Apple. While the app remains installable on older models such as the iPhone X, iPhone 8/8 Plus, iPhone 7/7 Plus, iPhone SE (First Generation), and iPhone 6s/6s Plus, some features may not be available or function as intended. This is because these devices are classified as vintage under Apple's vintage and obsolete products policy and no longer receive updates for newer iOS versions.

Workaround: If you're experiencing issues, we suggest the following temporary solution:

Go to your iPhone settings.
Tap on "Health."
Tap on "Data Access & Devices."
Tap on "Cardiogram."
Turn off "Electrocardiograms (ECG)."
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding and patience. If you need further assistance, please reach out to our support team at hello@cardiogram.com. We're here to help. Thank you for your continued support.
